Orange, carrot & ginger juice

With the cold and dreary weather dominating at present, bring a little warmth and spice to your life with this anti-inflammatory juice.  This juice is also a great source of antioxidants, Vitamin A and C and a truckload of minerals to keep you well protected from those winter bugs.

For a little twist, add half a teaspoon of turmeric, a potent anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and liver detoxifier – perfect for the morning after those Christmas nights out!

RECIPE (serves 2)

  • 2 large oranges
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 2-3cm chunk of ginger (depending how spicy you like it)

Peel and quarter the oranges. Core and quarter the apples. Throw all the ingredients into your juicer and voilà! A fresh kick to start the day.

Use organic ingredients if possible.
